ACV Auctions is a dealer-to-dealer marketplace that revolutionizes the way wholesale car auctions are conducted. With an impressive annual sale of approximately 15 million vehicles, this platform eliminates the need for physical auctions by offering a convenient and efficient alternative.
Through the ACV Auctions app, sellers can easily create auctions in just a few simple steps. By scanning the vehicle identification number (VIN), entering condition information, and taking a few photos, sellers can instantly send their auctions to thousands of potential bidders.
Buyers have the advantage of reviewing comprehensive condition reports and participating in live 20-minute auctions through live and proxy bids. Unlike traditional auctions, ACV Auctions ensures a fair bidding experience by preventing last-second bid sniping.
Once an auction concludes, sellers have the flexibility to accept or send a counter offer to the highest bidder, initiating a real-time negotiation session. Buyers can accept the counter offer or continue negotiating directly through the app, all from the convenience of their mobile phones.
All payments and title transfers are efficiently handled through ACV Auctions' office. Buyers can make instant payments using electronic checks or floorplan options, while sellers receive prepaid FedEx® labels for title shipment. Additionally, detailed bill of sales are promptly emailed for record-keeping purposes.
